Career Highlights:

  • Coached a team of five program professionals that rarely achieved their annual FOS goal to a new norm of FOS goal achievement.
  • Led a board level division of ten FOS teams to goal three years in a row with an increase of over $75,000. Friends of Scouting Brochure
  • Double Dog Dare rappelling special event off of 30-story office buildings in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.  This event fostered community relationships, added visibility to Scouting and averaged a net return of $35,000. 
  • As Assistant Director of Development:
    • Increased annual popcorn sales by 9%
    • Responsible for over $4 million in fundraising
    • Staff led two development directors and three administrative development staff

  • Working with board members to identify prospects and help secure larger for capital or annual gifts.
  • Implemented over $20 million in capital projects at eight properties all within budget. Projects included camp improvements and new facilities, building a new Cub Camp multi-purpose building (Tonkawa Lodge) and Leadership Center (Scout Service Center). Leadership Center Grand Opening
  • Camping unbudgeted surpluses in the range of $84K to $200K in each of the last five years.
  • Key management team member contributing analysis and problem-solving insights to council finance and budgeting that led to operating surpluses on average of over $200,000 in the last five years to reinvest into Scouting programs.
